Last month I managed to escape the cold of the Melbourne winter and head up to the Northern Territory. It’s a place I’d wanted to visit for a long time, and having family up in Darwin gave me the push and excuse to visit this part of Australia.

A lot of ground was covered on the one week, starting at Darwin and visiting Litchfield National Park, Katherine & Nitmiluk, Barunga Festival, and Kakadu National Park. The trip exceeded expectations and the region has such a varies landscape so different to the south of Australia. There was no shortage of Photography subjects and here are a selection of shots I took during the trip. I hope it inspires you to visit this part of the world.
